This is a mini book Made by me, but inspired from watching Create Scrapbooks live show on facebook. It is a 4x4 mini with pockets. It was put together with Jump rings. It most definitely was a fun gift to give. I gave it to my daughter Kindergarten teacher. It was a Thank You gift. The paper is made by three bugs in a rug (spread your wings line.) I really love the bright Beautiful colors in this line. It made it easier for me to create using it. I simply love It.

My mothers birthday just past and I had a challenge from Create Scrapbooks to do a Mixed Media Project. So I decided to make this Mixed Media about the three Generation of girls on my side of the family. Since I no longer live in Massachusetts were all of my family live. The three generations
Have not been together like this many times. I was looking for a picture of all of us together and couldn't find one. This sadden me since there wont be many opportunity to capture one. So I decided to Create one... I drew the pictures of us on regular paper. Then use oil pastels to color them. I adhere the drawings to the canvas with Mod podge..This Mixed Media has many emotions tied to it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!!
This tag was made by using three acrylic paints all different shades of the same color. One was a shiny acrylic paint. You apply it randomly on the tag.. You need to take your paint brush with one stroke run it across your tag. This will make the colors blend ,but you will still see all the pretty colors on your tag. Do this in strait line motion till your tag is covered. Do not blend to much or it will turn into one color. You want to see the three different colors on your project. It will make your tag more appealing to the eye. Let the paint dry completely Then emboss the tag with white embossing ink and use a back ground stamp. The butterfly was stamped on some sanded coordination paper. I also added glossy accents on the middle of the butterfly and antennas. I use pop dots on the wings.. I added the fibers I had in my stash... I hope you like it.
